At The Assogna Endodontic Specialty Group, our
doctors are specially trained in all phases of conventional and surgical microendodontics, with additional surgical experience from The University of Graz, Austria.
Endodontic microsurgery combines magnification and illumination provided by the surgical operating microscope and new microinstruments. Without any one of these elements, microsurgery procedures such as apicoectomy, internal and external resorption repair, as well as the repair of iatrogenic and pathological perforations would not be possible. Endodontic microsurgery can be performed with precision and predictability eliminating the assumptions inherent in traditional endodontic surgery. The main advantage of microsurgery is a smaller surgical field which allows quicker healing with less post operative discomfort.
